We are currently having a banner contest for our site! As you can probably tell, the one we currently have in place isn't the best, so we want to give a lucky member the opportunity to have the banner they created on our site! If you'd like to participate, simply send us a PM to let us know that you'd like to enter your creation. Once that is done, you will be sent the background image to use! (It will be the same background we're already using.). You may submit as many entries as you like. Once there are enough entries, we will choose the one we think best suits our site and what we want to convey to guests and members! There are a few rules added to this contest and you can find those below! Good luck and have fun!
Rules:
1.) The horse you choose to go with the background can be any color or breed.
2.) Images must come from Stock & Resources on Deviantart and be allowed for use outside of DA.
3.) Do not add any text to the entry. We will put the stock credits and title in afterwards, as well as your own credit for creating the banner.
4.) Something with a unique, but natural looking, coat pattern will definitely catch our eye!
5.) If you use stock with tack, make sure to remove the tack before submitting your entry.
6.) The site's theme will not change with the banner, so try to avoid using stand-out colors like red, pink, orange, etc.
7.) Horse will need to be placed like in our current banner. The horse may be standing, rearing, pawing, etc. We do not want him/her charging towards the drop-off or jumping off.
8.) We're looking for a certain independent/wild feel to our banner. While the current horse works great, we just don't think it turned out the way we really wanted. If you'd like to use the current horse, let us know and we'll send you that image as well!
9.) We ask that you use only one horse for the banner. Remember, we want that feel of independence.
10.) Do not worry about image size. We will resize it ourselves to fit the site.
Remember, this will be a banner for TS, so it needs to follow our rules and guidelines on equine appearance. I.e. unique/unrealistic coat patterns/eye colors allowed, but no unrealistic coat colors.
