When a herd member is choosing to sneak away from their herd, or sneak their young from a herd, whether to avoid a trade or otherwise, that information will be posted anonymously within this board. It will be done anonymously by sending a PM to a member of staff with the information detailed below. How you go about sneaking is entirely up to you, but we highly recommend using riddle or poem form so that you will have a higher chance of success. You will be required to use vague descriptions of your character and territory to give the leader a chance of blocking your sneak. The sneak thread can be as long as you'd like, but we require at least six lines/sentences in which to add your vague descriptions.
Herd leaders may block a sneak by replying to the thread if they believe they know who the character in question is. Their second-in-command may also block a sneak on their behalf. They may only block one herd member at a time and may only try to block once every 24 hours. If the herd leader has already made a block that day, the second-in-command cannot attempt a block. Blocking will be done using the form provided and filling in the designated text. The sneak thread will remain active for 1 week. If the herd leader or second-in-command has not blocked the correct character from sneaking away within that time, it will be a success. If they do block the correct character, the sneak will be a failure and the herd leader will be allowed to punish your character as they see fit. Additionally, characters may try to sneak away again after 2 weeks.
If someone is on hiatus and they have posted in the absences board, you will not be allowed to sneak from their character's herd until they return. This is to give everyone a fair chance to block. The only exception is if the roleplayer of the second-in-command is still active. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask either via PM or in our c-box.
Below are the forms that you will use. Please PM them to a member of staff and they will post the thread within this board.
EXAMPLE SNEAK POST: For this example, we will use Sally, a palomino mare, and Edgar, a black shire. They will reside in Exampleland from The Deserts. You don't need to use this example and you could be even more vague than this.
CHARACTER NAME: Sally
REASON FOR SNEAK: Sally will be sneaking herself from the territory.
TERRITORY NAME: Exampleland
TERRITORY LOCATION: The Deserts
LEADER NAME: Edgar
THE POST: I come from sun-bleached lands
There isn't much of anything but sand. (could be referring to desert or oceanside territories)
My coat blends with the landscape
Light hairs flying with my escape (Here, we have given a description of Sally. She is palomino with cream colored hair)
With a coat as dark as his soul
His cruelty has taken it's toll. (Edgar is black in color and we can determine from using the qualifier 'his' that the leader is a stallion)
EXAMPLE BLOCK POST:
Edgar, the ruler of Exampleland, blocks Sally from sneaking away.
